Art for Global Justice was founded in February 2010 as a way to link art, social justice, and global perspectives. Since then it has grown organically through art exhibits, workshops, poetry slams, and international programs. Today, Art for Global Justice focuses on education in New York, Ghana, and Guatemala. All of our programs have a focus on the arts and social justice, and push students to express themselves and to dream big. We believe in the potential of all people, and work to provide motivation and opportunity through education. Our programs are strongly connected with local members of the communities we work with, as true change can only come from within.
